Protocols. Combatant greetings to all stakeholders, cadres, and ideological leaders across the Nation. Every accident is a notice that something is wrong with men, methods, or material — investigate — then act. ——circa Today National Association of Nigeria Student, Ekiti Axis support the action of Ekiti State government against indiscriminate siting of petrol stations across the state. We consider it sardonic and devilish for Petroleum marketers in Ekiti to site their petrol stations at residential areas and schools across the state most especially primary schools where the majority are the helpless infant. We should not think because an accident hasn’t happened to you that it can’t happen. Prevention is therefore better than cure. We should recall the fire outbreak in the state capital sometimes ago, which destroyed the businesses of innocent traders, now imagine if those shops were to be residential buildings or schools, no doubt it would have cleared the lives of many. The National Association of Nigeria Student Ekiti Axis under the leadership of Com. Owolabi Temitayo frowns totally at this tactles, thoughtless and uncaring act as we believe the PMS marketers focuses more on their profit/pockets than the lives of individuals in the state. The motive power of the “safety-first” movement is a realization of the fact that lives and limbs need not be sacrificed to any desired result or anyone’s selfish gain. We therefore call on well meaning individuals and the lovers of our dear state, to join and condemn the incessant and indiscriminate siting of petrol stations across the state. Ones again PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE until man dies. Struggle continues… Signed: Com. Owolabi Temitayo (Tower) Chairman, NANS JCC Ekiti Axis 08160974304 Com. Ogundare Paul General Secretary Com.
