I Have Found Love Again — Chika Ike

Tags
Nollywood Actress, Chika Ike seems to have found love again three years after divorcing her ex-husband, Tony Ebireri.
The actress’ marriage to Ebireri had come under heavy storm of accusations and counter accusations of infidelity, insubordination and domestic violence before it finally collapsed in 2013.
Now, the movie star is all set to try marriage again.
In an exclusive chat with Inside Nollywood, Ike talks glowingly about the special man in her life and plans for remarriage.
“Marriage is a beautiful institution. I will never talk down on marriage because it’s something I still look forward to. It’s what every woman hopes for. Though, I’m focused on my career right now, I do have a very special person in my life,” she enthuses.
When pressed further to reveal the identity of the man that tickles her heart, Ike whose latest movie, Miss Teacher is making waves in the cinemas, refused further talk about him.
“Well, that’s all I can say about my relationship; I have a special someone. His profile doesn’t matter to you right now,” she said.
When asked if she is a fulfilled woman despite her fame and fortune? She said:
“Honestly, I am not fulfilled yet. There are certain things I haven’t achieved. Every day I wake up, I want to get to the zenith of my career, but it takes one step at a time. I am still hoping to achieve more which would eventually make me a fulfilled woman.”

Militants Surrender Their Weapons In Rivers State, Nigerians React.PICS

Tags
Yesterday, some militants in Rivers state "black zone", Gokana Local Government Area, surrendered their "sophisticated" weapons, charms and other items to the Amnesty committee -in an event graced by different security agencies.
Now mixed feelings have trailed this act -considering the type of weapons that were recovered from the militants, knowing how dangerous the region is.
According to reports, Gokana LGA has been the bloodiest in the past one year -recording series of assassinations and politically motivated killings. Dr Vyncent Eebee, a lecturer with the Rivers State Polytechnic and a chieftain of APC was gunned down by a gang of dare-devil gunmen in that area and some other APC chieftains.
Nigerians have reacted differently to this. See below;

"Governor Amosun Building Multibillion Private House" - Emmanuel Ojo (Pics)

Remember Emmanuel Ojo,the Ogun state man who revealed that NLC officials were attacked and robbed by thugs in the presence of police? He has called out Ogun state governor, listing some of his ongoing personal projects while his workers suffer. This comes after Ogun state governor called striking workers senseless and brainless people.Below is what he wrote.....
'A governor that's building a multi-billion naira private residence and simultaneously a 10 floors complex in the full glare of everyone (most especially the civil servants) complain that the state is broke?
You stopped all other projects while your own personal projects are going on before our Unclad eyes, yet you have the guts to qualify our workers as senseless and brainless? Jesus Christ!
The civil service is an integral and critical part of any government establishment.
If the "political head" of a state government pronounced that those seeing to the day to day running of such government establishment is being managed by people without brain and sense, it thus then mean and implies that he's also running a senseless and brainless government.
This is the simplest interpretation of what the governor said in respect to Ogun civil servants and their ongoing strike see Images below..'.

Kwankwasiyya movement give Gov. Ganduje 48 hours to either remove red cap or face legal action

Tags
The Kwankwasiyya Movement (Red Cap Revolution) have given Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, 48 hours to either remove the red cap he is wearing, which is a symbol of the movement or he will be dragged to court.
Alhaji Sharu Garba Gwammaja stated this while addressing the crowd celebrating the 60th birthday of the founder of the movement, Senator Kwankwasos in Kano State. Alhaji Gwammaja said Ganduje has betrayed the organization and deserved to be disowned.
"Earlier, we have offered the governor the sum of N1m to remove his cap and he failed to do so. Now we have given him 48 hours to either remove the red cap which is a symbol of Kwankwasiyya or else we will drag him to court.
He deviated from the ideology of Kwanwasiyya and it is high time for him to stop wearing our symbol."
“Ganduje is enjoying the sympathy of Kano people because of the red cap he is still wearing even though his actions are contrary to the ideology of the movement. So we want him to stop associating himself with the movement because he is not one of us."
He added that the true meaning of Kwankwasiyya is selfless service to the public, free education for all, promotion of peace and unity as well as respect to the rule of law.
"We appealed to the people of Kano to forgive us for presenting Ganduje to them as governor. We are regretting our action and God’s willing we will ratify it in the next general elections. We hope our apology would be accepted," he added.

Junaid Mohammed: "I Will Not Campaign For Buhari Nor Vote For Him Next Time"

Tags
— 22nd October 2016
Second Republic member of the House Representatives and Russian-trained Medical Doctor, Dr. Junaid Mohammed, is a readers’ delight any time, any day. He is one politician, who shoots straight without missing his target. He was a thorn in the flesh of former President Goodluck Jonathan, during the build up to the 2015 election, a thing, which saw him, in and out of the DSS’ offices, owing to some explosive interviews he granted the media then, beginning from 2012.
He appears to have started with Buhari. In this exclusive interview with Saturday Sun, he x-rayed the about 18 months of the President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, with a verdict that the government has not done well, and that Nigerians should begin to plan the exit of the current administration, through constitutional means. He said: “I think those who are bothered about 2019, should please start getting alliances across, and start planning of how to bring down the APC government, through constitutional means, and to also make sure they deny the PDP, a second chance of ruling the country again. APC is not doing well; I don’t think Buhari is going to do any better. The crowd around Buhari has nothing to offer.”
Similarly, he said, even the PDP, must be denied the opportunity to return to power, saying, “in life, as well as in political life, you must be prepared to pay the price for your own political mistakes, and the only way I know people are made to pay a political price in a democracy is to deny them the opportunity to return to power or get them out of power, if they are in power. As far as I am concerned, I don’t see the deliverables of this country, through the PDP. “
On Aisha Buhari’s recent outburst, the Kano State-born politician said: “I have received calls from my friends from the Southern part of the country, telling me they don’t know our women can be that bold to talk the way Madam Buhari did, and I just laughed. Are they saying the air we breathe in the North, is different from theirs or what? We also have to look at the culture. There is nothing she did, which is wrong, because she is playing politics, the way her husband is playing it. And the truth is that the country has been badly shortchanged by the individuals she mentioned and who we know. What is wrong with that? If you have not elected somebody, why should you keep quiet when the person is exercising political power? This individual is not a government appointee, yet, he wields more powers than the President. We elected Buhari, but this individuals even uses the presidential jets, more than the person we willingly elected to exercise political power. And if the President’s wife is now complaining, what is wrong with that?” Enjoy the rest of the interview conducted by TUNJI LASISI.
It is now about 17 months since the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration came into being, looking at the journey so far, how would you assess the government?
Well, I sincerely hope you are not expecting me to be sycophantic. You have known me over the years; I don’t pay lip service to mediocrity, when in fact, it is a mediocrity. Addressing directly, the questions you just posed to me. I think anybody who has been living in this country since the 29th of May 2015, till this date, knows that the lot of persons in this country has been very, very, very bad. It is also very clear that this government has not lived up to expectations of Nigerians. Bribery and corruption are and have always been existential threat to the survival of this country, its progress and prosperity. So, as for the re-energised fight against corruption, the government has gotten it right. But beyond that, other aspects for which the ruling party and government in power, made definite promises and commitment to Nigerians, have not come to pass. So as far as I am concerned, it is a record that I am not impressed about.
The picture you have painted now appears to be at variance with the position of the North
